The Perfect Steak
Nothing beats a great steak when it’s cooked just how you like it. And we’ve got a delicious Texan steak recipe for you to cook on your braai in the garden. We would recommend using a good cut of rump steak for this one along with sea salt and a marinade if you wish. Serve up with potatoes cooked on the braai and a salad of choice. A braai, a South African barbecue is at the centre of our heritage and as fellow South African’s know, we will ALWAYS get cooking on the braai whenever we can, come rain or shine! And we’ve got another great recipe we know you’ll be reaching for time and time again. The Butterfly Lamb Recipe is a great summer meal that doesn’t take too long to prepare or cook. It’s made using Mrs Balls Chutney (you can choose your preferred spice) and coke marinade, creating a deliciously unique flavour.
The Goan Curry Recipe, something a little different for you to enjoy, making a hearty meal for all the family! We’d recommend going for an affordable steak with this one since you’ll be cooking it slowly for some time. A stewing steak is ideal for this type of dish. The Goan Beef Curry is full of flavour which comes through in its fantastic aroma. View the ingredients and method here: Recipe for Goan Beef Curry
