Featured Blog: The Great Zimbabwe Guide

This month we're featuring the Great Zimbabwe Guide, a fantastic resource for visitors to the country.
The site has been compiled by Beth, who is originally from Zimbabwe and moved to the UK in 2008. She says: "I've been fortunate enough to return to Zimbabwe almost every year since I moved to the UK, and I've learned to appreciate it as a rewarding holiday destination as well as the home of my childhood.
"Zimbabwe has enormous open spaces, its own unique history, culture, sunshine, and world-class wildlife. But you don't always hear much about that. I want to tell a more personal story, based on my own real-life experiences."
Begun in 2010, the Great Zimbabwe Guide was the first independent, non-affiliated travel blog on Zimbabwe. As well as being a mine of information on places to visit, stay and eat, the blog features articles about the ethics of visiting Zimbabwe, how to deal with the cash crisis, and tips on staying safe.
